He graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov" (NATFA) in 1992 in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov. In the same year, he joined the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. In the 1998/1999 season, he played the role of Paralytic in Guy Shelley's play "Shaving Wind" – an international theatre project realized in five language versions, with premieres in Paris, Tokyo, New York, Sofia and Johannesburg.
Among his most famous roles at Ivan Vazov National Theatre are Camille Desmoulins in "Memory of a Revolution" by Georg Buchner and Heiner Müller, Tiresias in "Antigone" by Sophocles, Damis in "Tartufe" by Moliere, Frederic Ellis in "Autumn Garden" by Lillian Helman, Noah in "The Man Who Makes Rain" by Nathaniel Richard Nash, Don César de Bassan in "Rui Blas" by Victor Hugo, Alyosha in "At the Bottom" by Maxim Gorky, Freddy in "Pygmalion" by Bernard Shaw, Stefan The Nose in "Larry Thompson" by Dusan Kovacevic, Angus in "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare, The Officer in "Macbeth" by Eugene Ionesco, Frank Harcourt in "To Marry a Country Wife" by William Wycherley, The King of France in "King Lear" by Shakespeare, Kilgore Trout and other characters in "Vremeters" by Andrey Filipov, Paul Dan in "All that jazz", Ricardo Heredia in "Damned Souls" by Dimitar Dimov, Virtuoso in "Flight" by Stanislav Stratiev, Teodosi Mironov in "The Culprit" by Dimitar Dimov, Don Basilio in "One Mad Day" by Pierre de Beaumarchais.
