Irina Miteva

Graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov" (NATFA) in 2017 in the class of Prof. Plamen Markov. She joined the Sofia Theatre troupe in 2018, where she participated in many productions including "The Night of January 16" by Ayn Rand, directed by Plamen Markov, "Emigrant's Paradise" by Dimitar Dinev, under the direction of Katya Petrova and "Consent" by Nina Rein, directed by Nedyalko Delchev. She also took on the role of Love in the N. O. Masalitinov Drama Theatre in Plovdiv starring in "Event" by Vladimir Nabokov, directed by Krasi Rankov.

In 2020, she joined the troupe of Ivan Vazov National Theatre. Her remarkable performances have graced productions including "Caligula" by Albert Camus, directed by Diana Dobreva, "Duel" by Ivan Vazov, directed by Marius Kurkinski, "Footnotes" by Mirela Ivanova, under the direction of Katya Petrova and "Vazov’s People" by Alexander Sekulov, directed by Diana Dobreva.

Irina Miteva has also captivated Bulgarian audiences through her appearances on television and in cinema.

She won the prestigious Award for the leading female role at the Drumevi Shyti International Theatre Festival in Shumen, in 2018, for her portrayal of the Woman in "Nirvana" by K. Iliev, directed by Maxima Boeva. She further earned the Award for the leading female role at the XXVII National Festival of Small Theatre Forms – Vratsa, 2018. She also received a nomination for the Icarus 2019 Debut Award for her role as the Woman in "Nirvana" by K. Iliev, directed by Maxima Boeva.
