Ostrovsky on the stage of the Drama Theatre - Sliven. He toured at the Theatre 199, the "Aleko Konstantinov" State Satirical Theatre. Among his roles are: George in "Moon over Buffalo" by Ken Ludwig in the Little City Theatre "Off The Channel", Yossarian in "Paragraph 22" by Joseph Heller, the Old man in "The Old Man and the Arrow" by Nikola Rusev, Razpluiev in "Merry Razpluiev’s Days". He is in the troupe of the "Ivan Vazov" National Theatre from 1997, where he debuted with the role of the Tick in "The Lower Depths" by Maxim Gorky.
