Asen Dankov

Graduated from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov" (NATFA) in 2016 in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov. The same year, he debuted on the professional stage with the role of Posthumus Leonatus in the play "Cymbeline" by William Shakespeare, staged by Liliya Abadzhieva, Ivan Radoev Drama and Puppet Theatre in Pleven. In the following years, he was reincarnated in many theatre and television roles. In addition to Ivan Radoev Drama and Puppet Theatre in Pleven, he also plays in Azaryan Theatre, and Plovdiv Drama Theatre.

He participated in the VGIK International Film Festival in Moscow, Via Pontica - International Youth Arts Festival, Balchik, Autumn International Theatre Festival "Scene at the Crossroads", Plovdiv, the International Volkovsky Festival - Yaroslavl, The Bristol Shakespeare Festival and the Belaya Vezha international theatre festival.

His debut on the stage of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre was in 2022 in Andrea Gavriliou's physical theatre performance "Fiesta". He also participated in the promenade performance "The Petrovs in and Around the Flu" based on the novel by Alexei Salnikov, directed by Boyan Kracholov, as well as in "An Ideal Husband" by Oscar Wilde, directed by Thierry Harcourt.
