Konstantin Elenkov

Graduated from NATFIZ "Kr. Sarafov" (NATFA) in the class of Prof. Margarita Mladenova. He took part in numerous workshops of the Theatre-Laboratory Sfumato, including "That Thing" by Yordan Radichkov and "My self" – a collaboration with students from Pace University, New York. He participated in numerous festivals: Sibiu Festival – Romania, Grotowski Festival – Wroclaw, Poland, Skupi Festival – Skopje. At some of the festivals, he received an award for the best actor.

Konstantin Elenkov also has experience as a theatre director: "Dangerous Liaisons" at the Plovdiv Drama Theatre and "First Love" at the Vazrazhdane Theatre. For three years he led the Drama Lab workshop at the Ocean of Love festival in Pazardzhik.

Since 2021 he has been in the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, where his roles include "Geo" by Ivan Dobchev, "Good People" by David Lindsay-Abert, directed by Nikolai Polyakov, "The Father" by Florian Zeller, directed by Diana Dobreva, "Caligula" by Albert Camus, directed Diana Dobreva, "Duel" by Ivan Vazov, dir. Marius Kurkinski, "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare, dir. Robert Wilson and "Vazov's People" by Alexander Sekulov, dir. Diana Dobreva.

During this season, on the stage of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, you can watch Konstantin Elenkov in the following performances: "Arms and the Man", "The Father", "Caligula", "Duel", "The Tempest" and "The People of Vazov".
