Kiril Kavadarkov

Graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatre Arts "Kr. Sarafov" in 1967 in the class of Prof. Boyan Danovski. His professional career began the drama theatres in Dobrich, Varna, Plovdiv, and Pazardzhik. Since 1976, he has been part of the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre.

Among his most remarkable roles are Isai in "January" by Yordan Radichkov, Gorilkov in "Golemanov" by St. L. Kostov, bai Hadji Avram in "Attempt to Fly" by Yordan Radichkov, Micho Beyzadeto in "Under the Yoke" by Ivan Vazov, Ivan Buhala in "Uncles" by Ivan Vazov, Alcalde in "Rui Blas" by Victor Hugo, Gligor in "Turmoil" by Yordan Radichkov, Singer/Prince/Old Man in Bertolt Brecht's "The Caucasian Chalk Circle", Nicola del Monico in Serge Valletti's "As Much as the Box Fits", Gregory Solomon in Arthur Miller's "The Price", Herod in Shakespeare's "As You Like It", Witch in "Macbeth", Drugoselets in Yordan Yovkov's "Albena", Politician in Eugene Ionesco's "Macbeth", Edward in Kamen Donev's "Day Off," and Aldomirovtsi in Stanislav Stratiev's "Flight".

He won the prestigious ASKEER Award in 1993 for Best Supporting Actor for his compelling portrayal of Gregory Solomon in Arthur Miller's "The Price".
