Graduated from College of Theatre "Lyuben Grois" in 1994 in the class of Prof. Elena Baeva. Among her theatrical roles are: Milcana in "Masters" by Racho Stoyanov in Blagoevgrad Drama Theatre, Mariyka in "The Misunderstood Civilization" by Dobry Voynikov, Bolette in "The Lady from the Sea" by Henrik Ibsen and Sofrona in "Michayl Mishkoed" by Sava Dobroplodni in the Renaissance Theatre, Margaret in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by Tennessee Williams in Bulgarian Army Theatre.
Since 1998 she has been in the troupe of Ivan Vazov National Theatre, where she debuted as Milcana in "Masters" by Racho Stoyanov. Her other roles include: Raina in "Duel" and Stoyanka in the "Arrivistes" by Ivan Vazov, Farrah in "Popcorn" by Ben Elton, Teresa in "The Memory of Water" by Shelagh Stephenson, Maria in "Ghosts in Naples" by Eduardo De Filippo, Keranitza in "Albena" by Yordan Yovkov, Emilia in "The Winter’s Tale" by William Shakespeare, Miss Bildy in "The Country Wife" by William Wycherley, Amelia in "The House of Bernarda Alba" by Federico Garcia Lorca, Lady Chiltern in "An Ideal Husband" by Oscar Wilde, Clara Eynsford-Hill in "Pygmalion" by Bernard Shaw, Venus in "Day off" by Kamen Donev, Raisa Filipovna in "Life is Wonderful" by Nikolay Erdman, Stefka in "Fireball" by Ivan Radoev, Happiness in "The Blue Bird" by Maurice Maeterlinck, Olga in "Jeanna" by Yaroslava Pulinovich, the Singer in "Caligula" by Albert Camus.
She has an ASKEER Award 1998 nomination for a Rising Star and Icarus Award 1998 for a Leading Actress for her role of Sofrona. Bilyana received the "Dionysius '95" Award for a Leading Actress for the role of Milcana in "Masters".
